EU ForestFlow project Final Conference

On Tuesday May 29, 2018 the Final Conference of EU Forest Flow project – Flood protection infrastructure restoration and development of cross-border system for protecting people and natural assets from floods was held in Vinkovci.

The ForestFlow project, worth € 1,406,767.66, is co-funded by IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Croatia – Serbia for Program Period 2007-2013. It is a joint cross-border project of Croatian and Serbian authorities responsible for forest management (leading partners are Hrvatske šume d.o.o. and PE „Vojvodinašume“), water management and flood protection (Hrvatske vode and Vode Vojvodine) and institutions responsible for awareness raising on floods and flood protection (Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) and Institute for Lowland Forestry and Environment (ILFE)).

The project started on August 13, 2016 and lasts until August 12, 2018 when all project activities will be carried out.
